Cancellations by You
Life happens, and we get it. Here’s how refunds work if you cancel:
60+ Days Before Departure: Full refund, minus the $200 deposit (non-refundable, but transferable to another tour within 12 months).
30–59 Days Before Departure: 50% refund of the total tour price (deposit still non-refundable).
Less Than 30 Days: No refunds, as we’ve locked in guides, lodging, and more. But we’ll try to work with you on a credit for a future trip.
No-Shows: If you don’t show up or miss the tour start, no refunds or credits, sorry!
Cancellations by Us
Sometimes, the unexpected hits (think volcanic eruptions or not enough sign-ups). If we cancel:
You’ll get a full refund, including the deposit, within 14 business days.
Or, choose a credit for another tour, valid for 12 months.
We’re not liable for extra costs like flights or gear – book those after your tour’s confirmed!
Changes to Tours
We might tweak itineraries for safety, weather, or local issues (e.g., trail closures). Minor changes (like swapping a hike for another) don’t qualify for refunds.
If we make major changes (e.g., different destination), you can accept the new plan, get a credit, or request a full refund.
Special Circumstances
Medical or Emergency: If you can’t travel due to serious illness or a family emergency, contact us ASAP with proof (e.g., doctor’s note). We’ll consider partial credits on a case-by-case basis.
Travel Restrictions: If new government restrictions (e.g., border closures) prevent your trip, we’ll offer a full refund or credit, minus any non-recoverable costs.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with your booking details and reason for cancellation.
We’ll process refunds within 14 business days to your original payment method.
Deposits are non-refundable but can be credited toward another tour if requested within 30 days of cancellation.
Tips to Avoid Hassles
Get travel insurance! It can cover cancellations for reasons we don’t (like personal schedule changes).
Double-check your travel docs and tour requirements to avoid last-minute snags.
