Patagonia Glacial Camping’s a wild ride for nature lovers, with 5-9 mile daily hikes over moderate trails and camping in epic spots. You’ll need decent fitness – think weekend hikes or gym sessions to prep. Patagonia’s weather’s unpredictable, with 40-60°F days and near-freezing nights, so pack waterproof jackets, fleece, and a warm sleeping bag (or rent ours). November-March is prime season, with longer days and milder temps. Fly into El Calafate (FTE), where we’ll shuttle you to the trailhead (1-hour drive). Tents are provided, with sleeping pads and shared setups (2-3 people); campsites have basic latrines but no showers – embrace the rugged! Meals are hearty – asado BBQ, empanadas, and fresh fruit – with vegan options if you let us know. No altitude worries, but trails can be rocky or muddy. Our local guides, Patagonian born-and-bred, share gaucho tales and spot condors like pros. Groups are small (max 10) for a cozy vibe. Argentina’s visa-free for most (check your country); passports need 6 months’ validity. Travel insurance’s a must for weather or health issues. Kayaking’s optional (no experience needed), and a small daypack’s handy for hikes. We’re eco-conscious, supporting park conservation and local suppliers, so your trip keeps Patagonia pristine. Bring a headlamp for camp and a camera – glacier views are unreal. Expect wind and maybe rain, but that’s Patagonia’s charm. Ready to camp where glaciers glow? Let’s do this!
